Taking the plunge into self-employment can be daunting

  • We’ll agree the duration and frequency of your telephone/Zoom/Skype* coaching sessions. (total of 8 hours)

  • We’ll agree actions for you to take between each session and you can e-mail me any documents you are working on for feedback.

  • Access to additional resources including:  “Defining Your Niche”, “Networking Tips”, “Confidence Booster Guide”  “Keep the Focus Plan”

  • My unique “coach-on-call” facility means that you can either book a 30 minute “help me” call using my on-line booking system, or drop me an e-mail for anything you want to discuss that will not wait until our next session.

You benefit from a truly personalised approach with tailored sessions and individual practical support.   Your Investment  £595

During this call we'll discuss your situation and decide if this programme and you and I

are the right fit" to work together.

Some of my recent clients have told me:

  • “If I don’t do it now, it will be too late!  I’ve always had an itch to be self-employed and my redundancy is the kick up the backside to finally make it happen”

  • “I’ve got a great idea for a business and a to-do list that goes on forever.  I feel so overwhelmed with it all.  Can I really do it?”

  • “Should I be a sole trader or limited company?  Should I freelance?  Do I need a website?  I have so many questions.  I can’t sleep because I’m so excited but then the questions just keep coming.”

  • “Maybe I’m too old for anyone to take me seriously. I’ve only ever worked in this industry and I want to do something different”

I can appreciate how this may feel; 10 years ago I found myself “on the job market”.  I had chosen to take voluntary redundancy from a Senior Human Resources role within financial services.   1st July 2010 was the first day of my new chapter, yes I felt excited but also a little overawed by the freedom and choices that were suddenly in front of me. I knew I wanted to be self-employed.  I’d had enough of the strait-jacket and office politics. In the following months, I went through waves of sheer joy and utmost despair as I tried to navigate my way to a new working life that I would be happy with.

Drawing on my own experiences (if I’d known then, what I know now), listening to my clients and completing various courses to build my own knowledge and skills, I have developed this 6 step programme, to provide focus, challenge and support to help people like you stand out in the market place and set up a self-employed working life that suits them.

If this sounds like the support and mentoring you are after....

Don't Just Take My Word For It...

"I simply cannot thank you enough.  You were my catalyst and the first non-friend who was able to look at me and say I can... if I want to.  And if I want to, I should."

                                                                                                                                                                                                J Jackson, Notts

"I worked with Michelle for approximately 6 months, and even a coach myself, I valued the skills and knowledge another coach can bring to my personal and professional development. Another perspective can be invaluable in moving forward.

Our coaching sessions took place over the phone and this potential barrier to building an effective client-coach relationship Michelle has managed skillfully ensuring that our conversations are effortless and personable.

Michelle helped me to find clarity and make decisions on the direction my life is going, both personally and professionally. This has resulted in my setting meaningful, relevant and achievable action plans, which have borne fruit successfully in a relatively short period of time.

She is direct and supportive and if you are the kind of person who wants to see real results quickly, which are right for you and appreciates someone who will challenge you, then, Michelle is the right coach for you."

* I cannot, of course, guarantee that you will have a hugely successful 6-figure business - market forces, your skills, commitment and personal circumstances will all influence this.  However, if you complete the Programme, are prepared to go deep with your thinking, prepared to be challenged and take all of the action required you will have a sound platform from which to build your self-employed success story.
